Ox + Anchor Relaunches Indies & Eats

01.10.24

Hotel San Luis Obispo's Michelin-recognized modern steakhouse, Ox + Anchor, has reintroduced its popular Indies + Eats experience. This offering combines a three-course prix fixe dinner thoughtfully crafted by Chef Ryan Fancher with a screening of an independent movie at the historic Palm Theater, conveniently located next to the restaurant. This delightful experience is available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout January and February.

Notably, a portion of the proceeds from each meal goes toward supporting the SLO International Film Festival.

Ox + Anchor's three-course dinner menu starts at $78 and is specially tailored to match the theme of the film being showcased at the theater. An impressive $10 from each meal is dedicated to benefiting the Festival.

The featured films for January and February include titles like "The Lunchbox," "Chocolat," "Ratatouille," "Babette’s Feast," "Julia," "In the Mood for Love," "The Truffle Hunters," and "Eat, Love, Pray." Screening times are at 4:15 pm and 7 pm. For the 4:15 pm screening, it is advisable to make a dinner reservation at 6:15 pm or later, and for the 7 pm show, a 5 pm reservation is recommended. When making a reservation, guests are encouraged to request the prix fixe menu. Film tickets can be purchased separately at the Palm Theater box office or online at thepalmtheatre.com/tickets.
